How We Started?
In 2020, we launched this blog to carry out a research project on urinary incontinence. During the project, our team was surprised at how little information there was for patients regarding bladder leakage.
In fact, most of the available resources seemed to be written from a healthcare professional’s perspective rather than that of a patient or caregiver. Because urinary incontinence is such an under-researched topic, we knew there were lots of unanswered questions and issues that needed help.
That’s when Stopurineleakage.com was born! Our mission became to share valuable information with patients through articles written by urologists and physicians who have been directly involved in “patient care”.
We also wanted to provide a forum where individuals could communicate with each other about their experiences.
We are happy to say that our blog has grown tremendously over the past year. We now have thousands of visitors every month and hundreds of engaged readers on our Facebook page.
Even better, we’ve heard from many who have used our site as a valuable resource for dealing with urinary incontinence. That is why we continue to operate Stopurineleakage.com to help patients deal with this difficult and embarrassing issue!
We hope that you will find this site helpful and we encourage you to comment on our articles.
Our goal is to continue providing valuable information for those who need it most, including patients, caregivers, and medical professionals.
